Be Transported Back in Time!

Your host Abigail will guide you along trails that will help you to learn about historical sites, figures, and events that shaped American history. Learn about New England throughout the centuries from an experienced guide from the comfort of your car, van, or bus. Tours are of Boston, Cambridge, Lexington to Concord, Salem, or Plymouth. Please allow 2-3 hours for sightseeing and travel, with an optional meal at a historic restaurant.

Boston: Colonial Days to Modern Times

Sites along the way include Boston Common, Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King’s Chapel, Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Bunker Hill Monument, and more!

Boston: Past to Present

Learn how Back Bay, Fenway, and Downtown develop from a charming old bean town into a world-class destination city. Gain insight into historical figures and sites that are renowned throughout our nation and around the world. This educational outing is fun and informative!

Cambridge:

Discover how Cambridge evolved from a colonial town 400 years ago into a modern biotech hub of the world. Hear how renowned universities like Harvard and MIT influenced the minds of America’s great leaders. See sights along Mass. Ave., Harvard Square, Kendall Square, and more!

Lexington to Concord:

Begin in Lexington, and travel along the old Bay Road into Concord. En route, learn about historic taverns, homes, sites, and townspeople who witnessed the beginning of the American Revolution. Hear about important events and developments across the centuries, including authors like Alcott, Emerson, Hawthorne, and Thoreau.

Salem:

Protected from the elements (and ghosts!), you will learn about Old and New Salem. Passed by historical landmarks such as Pickering Wharf, Salem Maritime, the Custom House, and the House of Seven Gables. See sites associated with witchcraft: Witch House, Salem Witch Village, and Salem Willows. See how architecture has developed from the 17th century to the present.

Plymouth:

Learn about the Native Americans and the early settlers, including their reasons for coming to the New World. Visit America’s earliest landmarks, such as Plymouth Rock, Coles Hill, and more.
